  • 30g flour
  • 25g chestnut flour
  • 1 pinch of yeast
  • 500g chestnut cream
  • 80g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • walnut kernels

Recipe

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°c.

Step 2

Let the butter soften at room temperature.

Step 3

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Step 4

Mix the egg yolks, softened butter, chestnut cream, flour and yeast. Stir until completely combined. Add the walnut kernels.

Step 5

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Gently fold into the mixture.

Step 6

Pour the batter into the cake tin, sprinkle with walnuts and bake for about 35 minutes.
