Whip up moist, spooky Halloween muffins topped with sugar-paste ghosts for a spellbinding gourmet treat.

  • 2 eggs
  • 125g flour
  • 50g sugar
  • 80g butter
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 1\2 sachet baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 60g whole milk

Recipe

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°c

Step 2

Take out the butter to soften it. Beat it with the sugar. Add the eggs one by one.

Step 3

Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave.

Step 4

Pour it into the mixture. Mix well.

Step 5

Add the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Step 6

Then add the milk until you get a smooth paste.

Step 7

Pour the paste into the mold and bake for 20 minutes.

Step 8

Meanwhile, stick the marshmallows on toothpicks.

Step 9

Roll out the sugar paste and use a cookie cutter to form circles.

Step 10

Poke the toothpick with the marshmallow into the cupcake. Place the sugar paste disc on top to create the shape of a ghost. Draw eyes and a mouth with melted chocolate.
