Cod with sage butter and potatoes

  • 1kilo of potatoes
  • 1 cod fillet
  • 100g of butter
  • 10 sage leaves
  • Salt / pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Herbs of Provence

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°c

Step 2

Cut the potatoes into quarters, place them in an ovenproof dish. Add a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with Provençal herbs. Add the cod fillets.

Step 3

Bake for 15 min

Step 4

Meanwhile, make the sage butter.

Step 5

Melt the butter over a low heat with the whole sage leaves. The butter should foam slightly but do not let it brown. Remove the sage leaves.

Step 6

Remove the potatoes and cod from the oven, arrange a plate and pour the sage butter over the cod.
