Rice, pasta, semolina, etc. All starchy foods are difficult to quantify. We're always afraid of running out, or we don't know how to adapt the quantity to the side dish. In general, we cook too much and end up with leftovers at the end of the meal.

How do you store leftover starches?

In France, rice and pasta waste accounts for 12% of food thrown away. It's a shame to throw away leftover starchy foods, as they retain their texture and flavor if stored properly!

Ideally, they should be stored in glass containers to preserve their freshness and prevent them from drying out or sticking. Our 1.2 L canister is just the right size for leftover pasta, and has a "special pasta" motif on the lid!

Once in the fridge, you can keep them for 3 to 5 days (2-3 days if in sauce).
