A sweet duo of apples and pears, tenderly roasted in the oven and flavoured with vanilla. A delicate compote bursting with comforting flavours.

  • 4 apples
  • 4 pears
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 glass of water

Recipe

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

Step 2

Peel and core the apples and pears (keep the peels, dry them in the oven, you can use them later to make infusions).

Step 3

Cut the apples and pears into pieces and place them in an ovenproof dish. Add the sachet of vanilla sugar and the glass of water.

Step 4

Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 5

You can blend the compote to obtain the desired consistency.
